AWAKEN: elementary

WEEKLY PROGRAM: Our classroom style program is offered weekly starting the week after Labor day through mid May. Classes are offered Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings at both campuses. Parents are able to choose which campus and time works best for them, and the child will remain in that class the entire session. Spots are limited in some sessions and will be on a first come first served basis.

HOMESCHOOL: Though we encourage families to take advantage of the community of the classroom, we will also offer a homeschool option for 1st through 5th grades. Families will receive the book and support materials and will work at home at their own pace. We will reach out to your family to make sure you have the support you need.

ADAPTIVE: It is our goal to try and give all students an opportunity to participate in the weekly classes. If that environment will not work for your child, we are also offering an Adaptive program on Sunday mornings on the Incarnation campus.

SEE BELOW for information about the Word of Life curriculum and other opportunities for our Elementary youth at Our Lady of Light Family.

The Word of Life curriculum makes learning the faith effective, engaging, and fun with Bible stories, contemporary children’s stories, lives of the saints, and activities for a variety of learning styles. It helps children, teachers, parents, and families discover their authentic Catholic identity to reinvigorate fruitful participation in the Church’s life and mission. It is a curriculum that shows why the faith matters and nurtures a deepening integration of the faith in daily life through Christian discipleship.
