Celebrating First Reconciliation & First Communion
Children need to be baptized, at least 7 years old and in the second grade in order to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion. Sacramental Faith Formation is a separate program and is not a part of the regular faith formation process (religious education classes). All children wishing to celebrate First Reconciliation or First Communion must be enrolled in a Faith Formation program. Children are encouraged to attend Sunday Mass weekly, as well as Holy Days of Obligation.
Parent involvement is vital to the success of our First Reconciliation/First Communion Ministry. All parents are expecting to assist in some way. Please complete the 2021-2022 Parent Involvement form *Click Here* online no later than November 8, 2021.
The Sacrament Information Form *Click Here* must be filled out online no later than January 10, 2022.

First Reconciliation Celebrations
(TO BE DETERMINED)
Children are expected to prepare for and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation before receiving First Communion. We want every child to have a parent present to participate in the prayer service and present their child to Fr. Brian Phelps or a visiting priest for Reconciliation.
PLEASE NOTE: Sunday classes do not lend themselves to celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation since the pastor will be preparing for Sunday liturgy. Sunday Grade 2 students and their parents are invited to attend with their parents on (a date to be determined).
