Christen Aquino

Christen grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta and attend Blessed Trinity High School (’05), after which she studied Athletic Training and was heavily involved in Catholic Campus Ministry at Elon University (‘09). She returned home where she coached Girls’ Lacrosse at her high school and served as the Youth Minister & Adult Faith Formation Director for seven years at Holy Family (Marietta, GA). In 2016 she relocated to Dayton. She graduated with her Masters in Theology from UD (’18) and served as the Director for Youth (6-12) and Young Adults at Immaculate Conception. For the last year she helped relaunch the Dayton Catholic Young Adult community as the board president, while working full time for the past four years as the Director for Parish Evangelization for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. She has been a member of St. Francis of Assisi since September of 2022 when she and her dog Phoenix moved to Centerville. Christen joined the staff of Our Lady of Light Family, February 2023.
