Graduated from Wright State University in December 2020 with a Bachelors degree in science and education, Hyla has been involved with Catholic ministry since 2016. Her experience includes FOCUS student leader and intern for the St. John Bosco Chapel at Wright State, missionary with NET ministries, and worked for St. Vincent de Paul. Hyla joined the St. Francis of Assisi staff August 2022. “I’ve come to really love the church and faith and I genuinely believe the church is home. My favorite bible passage is in Matthew 28 when Jesus says ‘Behold I am with you always until the end of age.'”
