January 18 – 25, 2018, is the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity! St Francis and Epiphany Lutheran Church are joining together to celebrate and pray for Christian unity with an Evening Prayer Service at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 6430 Far Hills Ave.. Pastor Jay Shailer will preside, and Fr Tom Schmidt will preach. This Service is a wonderful follow-up to this past year’s discussion series sponsored by St. Francis and Epiphany, “From Conflict to Communion”.
Prior to Evening Prayer, we are having a potluck Soup Supper at 6:00 PM to provide another opportunity for fellowship between Catholics and Lutherans. We already have volunteers to provide a variety of soups, and Epiphany will provide beverages, bowls, plates, and utensils. Attendees whose last name begins with A-I are asked to bring bread, J-R to bring salad, and S-Z to bring dessert for 8-10 people. If you’d like to join us for the Soup Supper, please sign up below. No sign-up is required if you plan to attend only Evening Prayer.
We hope you’ll be able to join for this exciting evening us as Epiphany and St. Francis continue to work together towards Jesus’ desire that ” they may all be one” (John 17:21). If you have any questions, please contact Ray Wasky at 937-475-4696, email@example.com Phil Nielsen at 937-885-3782, firstname.lastname@example.org.
