Celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity!

January 18 – 25, 2019, is the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity!

St. Francis of Assisi Church and Epiphany Lutheran Church are joining together again this year to celebrate and pray for Christian unity with an Evening Prayer Service at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 23, here at  St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Our own Fr. Brian Phelps and Pastor Jay Shailer will lead our worship. This Service is a wonderful opportunity to continue the ecumenical cooperation we began last year in celebration of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation.

Prior to evening prayer, we are having a potluck at 6:00 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Church to provide another opportunity for fellowship between our two communities.  We hope you’ll join us for the potluck and bring a main dish, side dish, salad, or dessert. Beverages, bowls, plates, and utensils will be provided.   If you’d like to join us for the potluck, please sign up below.  No sign-up is required if you plan to attend only the Evening Prayer Service.   Join us as St Francis and Epiphany continue to work together towards Jesus’ desire that “all may be one” (John 17:20.)  If you have any questions, contact Phil Nielsen at (937) 885-3782,, or Ray Wasky at (937) 475-4696,
